I enjoyed a tour of the new house while at homecoming. The tour ended in the basement in the chapter room, not yet finished due to just moving in a month before, but the actives did at least bring a large number of composites from the old house and deposited them here, in various stacks and/or leaning up against the base of the walls around the room.

I’d always thought the alumns might respond to seeing their picture in a composite. Perhaps the picture would bring back fond memories of life on campus and in the chapter.

So I started picking up each composite, propping it up against a wall or just holding it up in the air, and with my trusty iPhone, snapped a picture. 40+ snaps later, I’d captured the composites that were in the room. (sorry, some are blurry or have a reflection. I’ll try to get a better shot of those some day.)

They weren’t all there. I’ll make a list of the missing ones below. Perhaps between the actives and alumni, we can track them down and complete this archive.

But at least we have a start, and I urge you to visit your composite page and leave a comment, a memory, an update on you or perhaps a brother you kept up with over the years.

In this first phase (December 2024), I just want to get them all posted. Next, I’d like to type out all the names, since 1) they’re tough to read in the photo, and 2) as text, they might catch some spider’s eye, and from there, one of you while you’re searching for something. I think the rest of the content of each page will come from you, by way of the comments, and responses to comments. Enjoy the conversation!
