Hello. Welcome to the brand-new website for the Delta Theta chapter of Sigma Nu. It’s been amazing to collaborate with the alumni on this, and I look forward to more collaboration in the future.

Here at Knox College, the brotherhood has adjusted well to pandemic operations. We’ve found ways to keep everything fun and safe, with outdoor, online, and well-spaced events, collaboration with Campus Life and Health Services, and a health-and-safety-first culture. We’ve learned to communicate about our concerns and stressors and negotiate complex situations. All the while, we’ve kept love, truth, and honor as the guiding principles of the organization. When could these be more important than now?

The House is currently made up of thirteen brothers representing five states. We have brothers majoring in Creative Writing, Biology, Education, Philosophy, Computer Science, French, International Studies, and Theater. Notably, Sigma Nu held the school’s second-highest GPA last year, and has been commended by the Grand Chapter for high participation in Sigma Nu programs and work on improving the chapter.

We are re-starting some of our fraternity programs, and creating new ones. In the past year and a half, we have discovered ways to integrate new skills we learned during the pandemic into our standard operations. For example, we were able to host a virtual homecoming, allowed many brothers, especially those who are busier, older, or further away, to participate and reconnect for the first time in years.

We believe that this website will allow us to strengthen relationships and bonds of across many boundaries better than we ever have before, and are excited to expand our outreach.

We look forward to connecting with you in any way we can.

Fraternally,

Maggie Garrett | Delta Theta 1345 | Class of 2022
